Cyprus Duty Free continues to lead the way in product innovation with several newly commissioned exclusive bottlings joining their award-winning Spirits line up.
Recognising the opportunity for discovery and the desire for exclusivity among passengers, Cyprus Duty Free’s dedicated product development focus has seen several successful private label liquor launches in recent years, including the multi-award-winning Ovis Whisky and Lambouri Lion Spirit XO Brandy.
Cyprus Duty Free’s Product Development team work with the best local and artisan producers to great unique products and experiences for passengers travelling through their stores at Larnaca and Pafos International Airports. The most recent additions to the Liquor category include:

• Aged Zivania 50cl – the traditional alcoholic drink of Cyprus registered as a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) product and made from local Cypriot grape varieties of Xynisteri & Mavro. This bespoke Zivania is carefully aged in oak barrels, giving it rich, refined notes of vanilla, caramel and spices.

• Silky Crown Cream Liquer 70cl – a silky smooth and creamy blended liqueur. An enjoyable sweet tasting liqueur, pairing cream milk with whiskey to deliver a balanced and memorable drink.

· Ouzo 70cl – a traditional aperitif made from grape pomace and a blend of aromatic spices. It is registered as a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) product that can be processed only in Greece or Cyprus. Light and pleasant to taste with a distinctive flavour of anise, enriched with a special blend of herbs and spices.

· Arak 70cl – a rich anise flavoured spirit with deep cultural ties to the Middle East region. The base spirit is made primarily from grape pomace, creating a smooth texture and subtle sweetness. Flavour notes come from aniseed which give Arak its characteristic liquorice-like taste.
