ARI Ireland Launches New Own Label Water Brand
ARI Ireland has launched its first own brand product – Plane Water – in its airside retail shops at Dublin, Shannon and Cork airports.
The 500ml bottle of Plane Water retails at €1 per unit, a very competitive price for the Irish market generally. ARI Ireland will donate 10 cent for every bottle sold to Barretstown, Ireland’s Hole-in-the-Wall camp that helps rebuild the lives of children and their families, affected by childhood cancer.
“This is a new and exciting opportunity for us to develop our own branded product and offer additional fantastic value to customers of The Loop shops at Irish airports,” said Jack MacGowan, CEO, ARI.
“We aim to capture a significant share of the market at our three airports, which also means a sizeable contribution to our Charity of the Year. We plan to introduce additional bottle sizes and water varieties in the near future and we will explore the development of other own branded products over time,” he added.
Plane Water, is sourced from Irish company Sliabh Bhreandáin, based on Ireland’s west coast, that also bottles Kerry Spring Water. “We’re delighted to be working with DAA on the launch of Plane Water and we look forward to a long and successful partnership quenching the thirst of Irish and international air travellers,” said Sliabh Bhreandáin Managing Director Michael Walsh.
