ARI Ireland hosts successful “Don’t Tell the Groom” fun event at Dublin Airport

ARI put its long-standing expertise in forming partnerships to romantic use today when ARI Ireland hosted a very successful “Don’t Tell the Groom” fun event at Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2.  February 29, according to a long-standing tradition in many cultures is when women are allowed take advantage of the leap year to take a “leap” and propose marriage to their partners.

“The Loop retail brand developed by ARI Ireland commits to our customers in many different ways ranging from price competitiveness to after sales service,” said Paul Neeson, Director Retail, ARI Ireland.

“But one of our pledges is to create a sense of theatre and excitement for passengers as part of the retail experience and we certainly succeeded in that objective today. The fact that the media coverage, we enjoyed through the day, encouraged more passengers to come earlier to our shops to join in the fun, was a significant additional commercial benefit.”

By early evening, eleven successful proposals had been made at the specially designed small “chapel” in the middle of Terminal 2’s retail area. The ladies involved not only succeeded in getting their men, but also gained entry to an on-the-spot competition for a €5,000 honeymoon package from Tour America.  Roll on February 2016
