ARI Ireland Food Outlets at Dublin Airport Nominated for Major Food & Beverage Awards

ARI Ireland’s food and beverage outlets at Dublin Airport have secured five nominations in a major international competition, the annual Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) Awards.

Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2 is one of nine airports competing for the World’s Best Airport Food & Beverage Award. Competitors include Incheon Airport in South Korea, Singapore’s Changi Airport and London’s Heathrow.

The Slaney Bar in Terminal 2, operated by SSP, has been nominated in the Best Airport Bar category while the Chocolate Lounge and the Harvest Market restaurant in the same terminal are in the running for the Best Non-Alcoholic Airport Outlet and Best Airport Self Service Restaurant respectively.

A nomination for Best Food & Beverage Concession Programme was earned by HMS Host International, also in Terminal 2.

“We are delighted that the quality of the food and beverage offering at Dublin Airport has been recognised internationally by these nominations and we’d like to congratulate all our concessionaire companies who have made this prestigious short-list,” said Paul Neeson, Director Retail, ARI Ireland.

He said he was particularly pleased that that Terminal 2, which opened only 18 months ago had been nominated as one of the nine best food and beverage locations in the world.

Shortlists of nominees under various categories were announced by the Foodie Report and its sister publication, The Moodie Report.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony, hosted by Schipol Airport, in Amsterdam on June 21.
