ARI hosts launch of Tullamore Dew New Look at T2, Dublin Airport
Leading Irish whiskey brand Tullamore Dew held the global launch of its new-look bottle at the Irish Whiskey Collection in T2 today.
Executives from Tullamore Dew manufacturers William Grant & Sons joined ARI chief executive Jack MacGowan and senior ARI Ireland representatives at the launch event.
The visitors were welcomed by Jack MacGowan who expressed his delight that the company had chosen the Irish Whiskey Collection at The Loop to launch the new global brand look for Tullamore Dew.
“The Irish Whiskey Collection not only represents a unique showcase for the heritage, quality and dynamism of Irish whiskey, one of the world’s fastest-growing spirits categories, but has been a key driver of higher whiskey sales at The Loop in Dublin Airport,” he said.
“We are now selling an average of 1,000 bottles of Irish whiskey a day, or one bottle per minute, and growth in premium Irish whiskey sales is currently about 25% ahead of passenger traffic volumes through the airport.”
“We wish to thank all Irish whiskey distillers for their support of this concept, particularly for their collaboration in providing highly-trained sales staff here at the Irish Whiskey Collection, as ambassadors for this great product,” he added.
He thanked and congratulated Andre de Almeida, director of retail travel at William Grant & Sons, and his colleagues “for choosing the Irish Whiskey Collection as the venue for this exciting brand initiative and for their ongoing commitment to the Irish Whiskey Collection.”
