ARI CEO Meets Chinese Vice-President
ARI Chief Executive Officer Jack MacGowan had the honour of greeting Chinese Vice-President Mr Xi Jinpeng on the latter’s arrival at Dublin Airport on Sunday, February 19.
Mr Xi, who is widely expected to become the next leader of China before the end of the year, met the President and Prime Minister of Ireland during his visit to Dublin in addition to various senior ministers and numerous representatives of Irish business sectors with interests in the fast-growing Chinese market.
ARI is one such Irish company. It plans to open its first airport retail operation in China later this year in the south-western city of Kunming. The company opened a China business development office in Shenzhen earlier this year.
