Bahrain Duty Free wins four awards - June 11 2010

1. Best Training Program –
Award collected by Adel Salem – HR Manager.
Evaluation Criteria
This award recognizes the efforts the individual has put in to increase nationalization through HR Strategies while improving people development through training and maintain/increases the bahranization level of his company.

2. Best Training Institute – awarded to Bahrain International Retail Development (BIRD,) BDFS Training Company.
The Award was collected by Adel Reda, GM of BIRD and also Head of HR & Marketing for BDFS.
Evaluation Criteria
This award is given for Training companies who has successfully implemented training program in their companies for 2009.

BDFS also won the Ministry of Commerce Award for
• Best in E Commerce ‘e Economy Award’ - presented by the Deputy Prime Minister H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Mubarak Al Khalifa to the Chairman BDFS, Mr. Farouk Almoayyed.

Evaluation Criteria
The award is given to public or private organization that uses information and communications technologies in an innovative approach to develop the economic sector in the kingdom of Bahrain.
This award praises organizations with a robust ICT infrastructure and competent staff that have unique approaches that contribute to the growth of Bahrain’s Economy.


BDFS won the BEST NATIONALIZATION STRATEGY AWARD
The award was received by Human Resources Manager Adel Salem during the 5th Annual GCC Human Assets Expansion Middle East congress held in Dubai from 24 – 26 of May 2010.

Evaluation Criteria
The award honour an organization that has shown commitment to Nationalization by unparalleled efforts in identifying, attracting and developing nationals by implementing innovative strategies.
