CyprusCTC-ARI Airports
ARIME and its partner, Cyprus Trading Corporation (CTC), concluded contractual arrangements with Hermes Airports Ltd. to operate the duty free and duty paid retail outlets at Larnaca and Paphos Airports for a 25 year period with effect from 2006. In 2007 ARI were also part of a winning consortium to operate all Food and Beverage outlets at the Cypriot airports of Larnaca and Pafos.
The food and beverage business in Cyprus is operated in a Joint Venture with SSP, Louis, and CTC. The concession length is 13 years at both airports, with a further 12 year follow on option.
The new Pafos International Airport opened in November 2008 and Larnaka will open on 11th November 2009. The new airports herald a new era in Cyprus civil aviation and CTC-ARI will operate close to 1,300 sqm in Pafos Airport and over 7,500 sqm in Larnaka Airport which includes both retail as well as food and beverage.
